Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

This is a very exciting time in school food service. As people have become increasingly aware of the correlation between diet and health, school cafeterias have stepped up to help students develop optimal eating habits. We are pleased to be able to offer an array of fresh fruits and vegetables. Baked goods and many entrees are prepared at our central kitchen and in our local community. Great care is taken in menu planning to ensure that our menus meet the strict standards of the child nutrition programs.

The Food Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
